          I am an on location natural light photographer, in Bloomington/Normal, IL. I have had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember when I was 16 I took a general photography class in school and fell in love. I always wanted a new camera, and was always the one stopping in the middle of the sidewalk in New York City just to take a picture of something that caught my eye. After moving back to Illinois in 2003, my love for the camera and lens was dormant for a while, never gone.. just quiet. (Haha)

        
           A little over twelve years ago I found myself a mother of my first beautiful baby girl, and constantly taking pictures of her. Children are inspiration for sure. So in 2009, after the birth of my second little girl, I made the leap and truly dove back into the world of photography. I  bought myself a good DSLR and I began re-teaching myself camera settings, lighting and different techniques, which is still and will constantly be something I strive to tune and refine. Photography is a constant learning experience and I cant get enough.

           

         So after purchasing my DSLR and practicing on my children, my friends, family and pretty much anyone willing, I decided to take the huge step and put myself into business. Ive officially been in business in the Bloomington/Normal, IL area for over seven years now, and I cant get enough of it. I love working with each and every client I have. I enjoy every session whether you are expecting, just had a baby, got engaged recently, getting married or just need updated family portraits every session is a new and exciting experience for me. I love my job, I love getting to meet new and exciting people all the time.

          

          So when you book with me expect energy and enthusiasm for what I am doing. I love to make the client comfortable and help them enjoy themselves in a sometimes stressful situation. I strive to provide beautiful and natural pictures for you. I hope to hear from you soon.
